THE MISSION
Our mission at Cyberwox Academy is to provide quality resources for students seeking to start a cybersecurity career through collaboration and community building. As college students, we understand the challenges other students face in regards to discovering & navigating their Cybersecurity journey, exploring their interests, and adequately preparing for internships. We created this platform with all of this in mind and we're certain that the resources provided here will be of great help to you.

Founder
ABISOLA DAYSPRING JOHNSON
Hey there! My name’s Dayspring and I’m a junior at Western Governors University as well as a Cyber Threat Analyst with a passion for Cybersecurity. My passion has evolved from my childhood days of consistent curiosity about understanding the intricacies of how things work and I became interested in Cybersecurity as a result of this curiosity.
As a high school senior, I was involved in my school’s Cybersecurity Club and Robotics club and although my participation was short-lived, I’ve continued to learn more about Cybersecurity through self-studying, college courses, industry certifications, and work experience. Through the course of my current journey, I’ve attained relevant certifications including the Splunk Core Certified User, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+ & CompTIA A+.
I started my career interning as a Cyber Security Analyst at an Insurance Brokerage firm and have since worked as a Security Analyst at an MSSP and most recently as a Threat Analyst at the World's Leading Security Solutions Integrator. I’ve continuously dedicated myself to constant self-improvement and helping others learn through my knowledge and experiences.

CHARLES QUANSAH
My name is Charles and I am a rising senior at the University of Maryland Baltimore County as well as a Cyber Security Operations Intern. I got my start in technology back in high school when I took my first Computer Science course.
That experience led me to study computer science at the University level and continue to explore the opportunities in the world of computing.
Over time I became more interested in Cybersecurity and began to expand my knowledge through home labs, certifications, and college courses. I currently hold several industry certifications such as the CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+ & Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
I started my security career as Security Engineer Intern at a small Managed Service Provider and have since transitioned to a Cybersecurity Operations Intern role at a premiere player in the Data Analytics industry.
My experiences in the security industry thus far have enabled me to constantly learn and apply new skills as well as share my insights with other students. I look forward to where this journey takes me!
